Cristiano Ronaldo: the man, the myth, the GOAT – and the owner of a jaw-dropping US$10 million watch collection.
In much the same way that he dominates on the pitch, CR7 has taken his horological hobby to stratospheric levels, fuelled by multimillion-dollar contracts, endorsements, brand collaborations and his record-breaking deal with Saudi football club Al-Nassr, worth an eye-watering US$640,000 a day. (He’s also recently become a part owner of the team, which reached the finals of this year’s Saudi Super Cup in Hong Kong, in August.)

Ronaldo’s watch vault has long been the stuff of legend, boasting several pieces valued in the seven-figure range. So what’s he been adding to the mix lately? For Ronaldo, a timepiece worthy of his attention (and millions) is typically imposing, colourful, ultra-exclusive, dripping in diamonds and, naturally, astronomically expensive.
Here are some of the latest luxury watches Ronaldo has been flaunting that tick all those boxes, and then some.

At last year’s Euros 2024, Ronaldo made an unforgettable entrance as Team Portugal’s captain, wearing arguably one of the most coveted Rolexes ever made.
The Rainbow Daytona is already the stuff of legends among collectors, thanks to its gradient bezel of 36 baguette-cut sapphires. But Ronaldo’s version takes things to the next level with a rare mother-of-pearl dial. That detail makes it a grail within a grail: not only is the Rainbow produced in extremely limited numbers, but the MOP dial is an even scarcer variant, with each dial unique by nature. Standard Rainbow Daytonas already trade for US$400,000 to US$600,000 on the secondary market, but one with a mother-of-pearl dial can push that figure much higher.
Hublot Spirit of Big Bang King Gold Rainbow

Another rainbow in Ronaldo’s arsenal: the Hublot Spirit of Big Bang King Gold Rainbow. Unlike the classic round Big Bang, the Spirit line uses a tonneau-shaped case that hugs the wrist. Crafted with Hublot’s signature 18k King Gold alloy – warmer than traditional gold thanks to the addition of platinum – this watch is dripping in diamonds. We’re talking 164 brilliant-cut coloured gemstones across the case and dial, plus 62 baguette-cut sapphires forming a seamless rainbow bezel. Finished with a vibrant multicoloured alligator strap, this timepiece is a psychedelic journey on the wrist – a fitting match for Ronaldo’s maximalist taste. It retails for around US$80,000.
Hublot Big Bang Integrated Tourbillon “Sapphire Rainbow”

One more rainbow to round out the mix: in summer 2023, Ronaldo was spotted on holiday wearing the Hublot Big Bang Integrated Tourbillon Sapphire Rainbow. Paired with tiny swim trunks aboard a yacht, his look was surprisingly casual for someone sporting a US$960,000 timepiece. Then again, this watch is all about fun; with its rainbow gem-set bezel, integrated flying tourbillon and sapphire crystal bracelet, it’s a playful flex, perfectly suited to sun-soaked days on the water.
Jacob & Co Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon in Orange Sapphire

Ronaldo’s relationship with Jacob & Co goes back more than a decade; he became a brand ambassador in 2013 before a business partner and creative collaborator, co-designing collections like the Epic X CR7 and the Bugatti Chiron line, inspired by his own custom hypercar.
In July, he unveiled one of his boldest, newest additions yet: a Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon in orange sapphire crystal, accented with 18k rose gold. Valued at around US$1.5 million, this piece is not only a technical marvel in sapphire case construction, but also one of the priciest and rarest watches in Ronaldo’s entire collection.
Jacob & Co Caviar Tourbillon Tsavorites

When Ronaldo signed his landmark deal with Al-Nassr in late 2022, he marked the moment with a watch that showed his loyalties to his new home – the Jacob & Co Caviar Tourbillon Tsavorites, valued at around US$770,000.
Reflecting the same vivid green of the Saudi flag, this piece is set with 338 baguette-cut tsavorites, gemstones roughly 200 times rarer than emeralds. At a stonking 47mm, the case offers ample real estate to showcase the stones, which cover the watch entirely. The dial keeps things minimal to spotlight the gems: just the hands, Jacob & Co’s logo, and a flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock.
Casio G-Shock x Bape DW-6900 “Pink”

Not Ronaldo leaning into the hot-pink watch trend. For fiancée Georgina Rodríguez’s 30th birthday in 2024, he gifted her a Casio G-Shock x Bape DW-6900 in pink, custom-reworked by (who else) Jacob & Co, who added white gold and diamonds to the case. And while it was intended as Rodríguez’s present, Ronaldo himself has been spotted wearing it a few times this year – maybe as a way of keeping her close during away games.
