Style Edit: Boghossian opens a high jewellery boutique at Macau’s Wynn Palace

Boghossian opened a flagship boutique in Geneva in 2008, and has since added stores in London, Hong Kong, New York, Monaco and Gstaad

Boghossian’s story dates back to 1868, when the family began trading extraordinary stones along the Silk Road. That heritage still shapes the maison’s aesthetic: Eastern richness in colour and form, paired with impeccable Swiss technical precision.

Over six generations, the Boghossian family has developed techniques many jewellers rarely attempt. Its “art of inlay” sets gemstones seamlessly into one another; kissing style gives two stones the illusion of touching mid-air; and the patented Merveilles technique removes almost all visible metal so the stones appear to float on the skin. These innovations aren’t decorative flourishes – they’re the reason collectors treat Boghossian creations as modern heirlooms.

The brand’s global expansion has followed the same thoughtful pace. After opening its flagship on Geneva’s Rue du Rhône in 2008, Boghossian arrived on London’s Old Bond Street in 2013 and later established a presence in Hong Kong, New York, Monaco and Gstaad.

Each location is intimate and quietly immersive, giving clients the sense of discovering something rare rather than walking into a typical retail space. The Macau boutique continues that philosophy while embracing the theatricality of Wynn Palace: bold, polished and designed for an audience that values beauty as both craft and experience.

To mark the opening, Boghossian is presenting highlights from its Palace Voyages collection. The stand-out is the Grand Court set, inspired by the architecture of Bangkok’s Grand Palace – shimmering details, structural elegance and gemstones arranged with couture-level precision. In true Boghossian style, the presentation is understated, thoughtful and centred on the craft itself.
