Come April 4, Bulgari will open the doors to its eighth hotel in the Bulgari Hotels & Resorts collection. This one in Tokyo, Japan, will take fine Italian craftsmanship and style to the world. The hotel will occupy the 40th to 45th floors of a central skyscraper, Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, in the heart of Japan’s capital, complete with 98 rooms and suites decorated with luxury Italian furniture.

Custom luxury experiences and signature Bulgari culinary delights await patrons, including Sushi Hoseki, a Japanese concept restaurant with only eight seats overlooking a Japanese rock garden and helmed by a Michelin-starred chef. Along with an immersive spa and a state-of-the-art fitness centre, this is opulence redefined.

2. Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou, China

Set to open later this year, the Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts’ collaboration with China’s leading property developer, Sun Hung Kai Properties, will be a bespoke holiday experience you won’t want to miss. Encompassing an entire private island on the stunning Jinji Lake in Suzhou, this hotel, sprawling across nine hectares (22 acres), will highlight this cultural destination on the global map.

Over 200 rooms, suites and private villas await you, along with indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, fitness centre, jogging tracks and the works. Multiple dining experiences will be on offer to cater to varying palates – from traditional Chinese cuisines to a host of international all-day delicacies. The private island hotel is connected by a private bridge and is located a mere one-hour drive from Shanghai. The hotel is expected to open in late 2023.
