High-performing texture and design pretty much sum up Hourglass’ reputation as one of the best cruelty-free beauty brands out there – and good news for vegans: it intends to go completely vegan in 2020. One per cent of all the brand’s profits also go to the Nonhuman Rights Project, so this collection is probably the best choice for conscious do-gooders.
This year’s Christmas collection is called the Ghost Holiday Collection, and comprises of an Ambient Lighting Edit palette, Ambient Lighting Blush Quad, Confession Refillable Lipstick Duo and Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadow Collection.

Rihanna really needs no introduction – but her Fenty beauty line has also charted up a lot of merit in its own right. Besides being founded by the Barbadian superstar, the brand has built a reputation for its fearless colour choices and indelible pigment. For Christmas, the Tinsel $how Collection is pulsing with gloss, shine and more gloss. We tried out the Glossy Posse Mini Gloss Bomb Collection, Lil Stunna Mini Longwear Fluid Lip Color in Underdawg, Bomb Baby 2 Mini Lip and Face Set, as well as the Mini Body Lava Travel-Size Body Luminizer.
