Owens – who also attended Jonathan Anderson’s Dior show – made waves at the Palais de Tokyo, while Rabanne’s Julien Dossena looked to the 1950s

Day four of Paris Fashion Week was filled with back-to-back shows from brands with loyal followings such as Rick Owens, Schiaparelli and Isabel Marant, as well as a night event from shoemaker Roger Vivier, which unveiled its new headquarters in Paris’ Left Bank.

Here are three highlights of the day.

The day before the unveiling of his spring/summer 2026 collection, designer Rick Owens attended the star-studded Dior show, the first womenswear collection designed by newly appointed creative director Jonathan Anderson.

In an informal chat before the start of the Dior event, when asked about his upcoming show the following day, he half-jokingly commented that it wouldn’t be as exciting as Dior.

How wrong was he.

Held like always at the Palais de Tokyo, Owens’ show may have lacked Dior’s star power, but it offered plenty of excitement.

Owens doesn’t need much to make an impact with his always mesmerising presentations. His clothes – both those on the runway and those worn by his cult followers in attendance – are more than enough. The spectacle surrounding them never fails to deliver the wow factor.

For spring/summer 2026, the Paris-based American designer, who is the subject of a must-see exhibition at the nearby Palais Galliera, turned the courtyard of the Palais de Tokyo into a pool.
