As the summer season draws to a close, all eyes have shifted to the Venice Film Festival – where cinematic artistry meets impeccable style. Now celebrating its 82nd edition at the iconic Lido di Venezia, the world’s oldest and one of the most prestigious film festivals continues to set the stage not only for groundbreaking films but for unforgettable fashion moments.

While women captivate in bespoke gowns, the men have redefined red carpet elegance, trading casual summer wear for impeccably tailored suits and bold sartorial statements from the likes of Saint Laurent, Brunello Cucinelli and Dior.

Here are some of the sharply dressed men who stole the spotlight at this year’s Venice Film Festival.

You can always count on George Clooney to rock a polo shirt. The A-list actor paired his polo with light beige trousers when arriving in Venice with his wife Amal Clooney, whose halter dress was pulled from Balmain’s resort 2026 collection. He accessorised with a matching sandy belt, tan suede loafers and an Omega De Ville Hour Vision timepiece. George completed the ensemble with brown-tinted aviators and carried a black backpack in his right hand, embodying casual yet polished summer elegance.

This year’s Venice Film Festival has been as much a platform for new creative director debuts in fashion as a stage for new movies by the world’s leading film directors. Jacob Elordi has been having a star turn not only as Frankenstein’s monster in the latest Frankenstein, but also as brand ambassador for Bottega Veneta, modelling several stand-out menswear looks by Louise Trotter. He stepped out in an all-white outfit for the festival.
