- From winning at the Hong Kong Film Awards to appearing on reality show Sisters Who Make Waves in 2021, the Hong Kong star continues to defy age, posting fashionable photos of herself on Xiaohongshu
- Her multitudes of fans take style cues from her too, from her pink Balenciaga number and sporting Valentino’s new StudSign handbag, to strolling down the streets of Paris in luxury denim by Givenchy
She shared her whirlwind stint in Paris during fashion week on Xiaohongshu, China’s version of Instagram, where fans praised her age-defying beauty and impeccable style.
Cheung first caught the attention of film producers when she appeared in a lemon tea television commercial. She released her first album in 1999 and went on to put out her 10th and final album in 2005.
Her sweet, girl-next-door look quickly landed her leading film roles, too. Her inaugural role in the 1999 film Fly Me to Polaris earned her a best actress award at the Hong Kong Film Awards. She was also nominated for best newcomer at the award for her role in the Stephen Chow-led film King of Comedy the same year.
She later stopped making films and focused her attention on raising her three sons, though was never truly far from the public eye, as fans continued to follow her online and in the news.
Here, we go in for a closer look at why her Breakfast at Tiffany’s look captivated so many fans – and decode four other stylish moments.
