Natacha Ramsay-Levi’s second outing at Chloé has painted a clearer path for her definition of the Chloé girl. Unlike her predecessor’s focus on the maison’s romantic, flou and escapist codes, there was an air of cool at Chloé under her creative direction and we loved it.

The autumn/winter 2018 collection at Paris Fashion Week featured an elongated silhouette. Fluid, deconstructed silk dresses feature sensual and flattering cut-outs at the hip or on the shoulders. Some had a slashed neckline for a touch of effortless chic.

The nonchalant Parisian cool was reflected in round-shouldered knits paired with cargo pants, jodhpurs or pretty plisse skirts. There were also flowy dresses accented with metalwork or encrusted with sequinned lace.

The house’s archival horse motif which was manifested as a printed velvet pantsuit in spring was rendered in shoes and bags for autumn/winter.
