House of Dior Ginza’s opening showcases the magic onstage – and off – that brings Maria Grazia Chiuri’s haute couture collection to life

Bringing the best of Maria Grazia Chiuri’s latest work to Tokyo, Dior hosted a fashion show at the launch of their new store in Ginza Six, the biggest mall in Japan, which opened April 17.

Chiuri’s first haute couture collection for Dior was boxed and shipped to Tokyo, along with Kris Van Assche’s autumn-winter 2017 collection for Dior Homme – plus a capsule collection of ready-to-wear and accessories designed by Chiuri for the event.

The collection – which could have stocked the wardrobe for A Midsummer Night’s Dream – appeared even more ethereal amid gusts of wind in Ginza Six’s rooftop gardens.
