So, he enlisted the help of his son, 24-year-old Nathan, whom he shares with ex-wife Alvina Stewart, and best friend Skinny Boy, to secure the important stuff from his Encino Hills home. He put his pal in charge of grabbing the passports, important papers and jewellery from the safe, which, he added, his son didn’t know the combination to. Anderson Jr just needed to get his father’s diabetes medication out of there. The next day, the Emmy-nominated actor was back home watching, and filming, the fire rage on from his balcony “like a movie director on cocaine”.
