Sheawna Weathersby garnered attention this year when she split from the Chiefs’ defensive end Chris Jones, her partner of more than nine years. Weathersby and Jones share two sons.

They met at Mississippi State University
Not much is known about Weathersby’s life before her relationship with Jones. Apart, that is, from the fact that she’s a native of Magee, Mississippi, where she attended high school and was crowned homecoming queen in 2012.
After leaving school she attended Mississippi State University, where she met Jones, says People. Despite receiving offers from numerous schools, Jones stayed loyal to Mississippi State, the first to offer him a scholarship.
Maybe it was his goofy energy or his unwavering optimism, but they hit it off fast, says The Washington Post. Even when Jones left Mississippi a year early, their relationship stayed strong.
Through it all, Weathersby remained by his side. The same year Jones was named second-team All-Pro in 2018, they welcomed their first son, Christopher Jones II, whom they affectionately nicknamed Deuce, reports People. Two years later, second son Carson Dakota Jones was born.
