In December, DC Studios released the first teaser trailer for James Gunn’s Superman, starring David Corenswet as the titular hero – and fans are hyped, to say the least. Animator Trevor Carlee even recreated the teaser entirely in Lego and the video was re-shared by Corenswet on his Instagram Story. The actor, the first of Jewish ancestry to play the Man of Steel, will be succeeding megastars like Christopher Reeve and Henry Cavill in the role. So, understandably, expectations are sky-high. However, Corenswet is already winning hearts, not just as Superman, but also by virtue of his personality.

At Christmas, the Lady in the Lake star, who graduated from Juilliard, per Deadline, treated fans to a piano rendition of “O Christmas Tree” on his Instagram account. The video earned much praise from netizens, who also expressed their excitement about his addition to the DC Cinematic Universe (DCU) and the July 11 release of Superman.

Meanwhile, attention is also on the soon-to-be Clark Kent’s personal life. The 31-year-old has successfully protected his privacy when it comes to the romance department, but eagle-eyed fans seem to have discovered his real Lois Lane. According to The Sun, David Corenswet is married to actress and producer Julia Best Warner, whose IMDb profile lists him as her husband since 2023.

According to her LinkedIn page, Julia Best Warner graduated from Radnor High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania, and later attended Point Park University in Pittsburgh, pursuing a bachelor of fine arts degree in acting. “I think performing was probably my first love,” she told Nerd Alert News in 2020, revealing that she started “as soon as [she] could talk”.

Per J-14 magazine, David Corenswet was also born and raised in Pennsylvania.
