The twosome were described as “twins” by netizens who watched them go on stage to present the award for best acting ensemble during the 30th Critics’ Choice Awards last month.
Hudson, 45, stunned in a black figure-hugging dress, while Hagner, 37, looked elegant in a white gown embellished with silver sequins.
The pair took to social media to share photos of the evening both behind-the-scenes and at the event. “Thank you to the #criticschoice for having me,” wrote Hagner on Instagram. “Presenting was a dream alongside my sweet hottie funny date @katehudson. Congrats to all the artists making the art and to me and my hands, which had zero idea what to do on stage so I went with one of my classics ‘clenched ball fist’.”
The Almost Famous star also shared shots of their special night on the platform. “Date night with @merediththeweasel for @criticschoice,” she wrote.
