Jessica Alba chatted with everyone from Lisa Manobal to Sofía Vergara at the Vanity Fair Oscars party – but was spotted wearing comedian Alex Edelman’s coat as she left … so who is he?

Newly single Jessica Alba appeared to have an absolute ball at the recent Vanity Fair Oscars party, where she was pictured hanging out with celeb pals including Blackpink’s Lisa, Emilia Pérez’s Zoe Saldaña, and Modern Family alum Sofía Vergara.

The 43-year-old – who recently split from her long-time husband Cash Warren after 17 years of marriage – was even seen leaving the event with a mystery man, which was later revealed to be American stand-up comedian Alex Edelman. Alba immediately sparked romance rumours because she was wearing his jacket.

However, E! News later clarified that the duo are in fact not an item. “They are not dating,” a source with knowledge of the situation told the media outlet. “They met walking to their cars at the end of the night and he offered her his jacket because she was freezing before they went their separate ways.” Apparently, they’re just friends.

Clearly the man of the moment, Edelman had also been spotted hanging out with Kaia Gerber in Los Angeles before the party, per the Daily Mail.
