Who is JoJo Siwa’s mum Jessalynn Siwa? The Dance Moms alum supported her daughter when she came out as LGBTQ, and reportedly lives with the pop star in Los Angeles

Former dance teacher Jessalynn still embellishes the ‘Choose Ur Fighter’ singer’s costumes with rhinestones, but was previously accused of being a toxic stage mother
Per the Daily Mail, the pair were spotted in Bondi, Australia, celebrating Valentine’s Day with a romantic stroll in the rain. They had previously been seen spending quality time together on Queensland’s Gold Coast. The “Guilty Pleasure” singer and Call Me Kath podcast host were introduced by Aussie singer G Flip last year, and the former has been spending plenty of time in Australia since then.

As well as hanging out with her new friends Down Under, Siwa recently released a new single, “Choose Ur Fighter”, and also performed at Australia’s 2024 TikTok Awards, singing “Karma” in her bedazzled rainbow costume and make-up. Sharing a clip from the event on her Instagram, Siwa’s mother, Jessalynn Siwa, wrote, “Proud mom moment.”
Over the years, the older Siwa has faced backlash for being a toxic stage mum, but in an interview with American TV show Today in 2019, her daughter swore she is “literally the most opposite of that”. Jessalynn Siwa continues to support her daughter and, per a post on her Instagram, still embellishes all her costumes with rhinestones.
So, just who is Jessalynn Siwa?
What does she do for work?
