British entrepreneur Amber Atherton has lived and worked everywhere from Silicon Valley to New York and London, but her life has been strongly rooted in Hong Kong, where she was born and raised until the age of 11.

Now 34 years old, she has achieved many milestones as a businesswoman and early stage investor with dreams of inspiring more women to become entrepreneurs.

She is currently a partner at Patron, an early stage venture capital firm that invests in “a future shaped by games”, and she continues to serve as a board member at various companies including Arya and Indu.

More recently, she shared the birth of her son on Instagram, announcing the happy news on December 16. “Welcome to the world my darling boy!! We love you so much!” she wrote, tagging her husband Vishal Lugani.
