The ultra quirky Mountain Dew advert directed by Taika Waititi stars the 15-time Grammy nominee as the aquatic animal as he washes up on Baja Beach and sings “Kiss From a Lime”, a rendition of his song, “Kiss From a Rose” to Becky G, per Variety. “I had a blast coming up with new lyrics and loved collaborating with their team to bring this campaign to life in such a fun and unexpected way,” Seal told Adweek.
The English singer later announced via Instagram that he would be releasing new music in 2025. “‘Hey Seal! When’s your next release?’” he wrote. “After over a decade, I’m stepping into 2025 with new music, produced by none other than my friend Trevor. ‘All I Know Is Now’ will be out everywhere this Friday, alongside ‘Kiss From A Rose (Seal’s Version)’.
