Septuagenarian Bill Belichick sparked engagement rumours with his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson over Super Bowl weekend, again turning the spotlight on his sons, who are much older than her

Ever since the Super Bowl LIX weekend kicked off, former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick’s much younger girlfriend Jordon Hudson has been making headlines.

The 24-year-old stepped out with her 72-year-old beau in New Orleans last Thursday wearing an Atlanta Falcons Super Bowl champions sweatshirt, per Newsbreak.

She then turned heads at the 2025 NFL Honors, wearing a controversial Sherri Hill gown – which she later said resembled a Lombardi Trophy – and a sparkler on her ring finger, per E! Online. Hudson also sported the same accessory at Fanatics founder Michael Rubin’s party, leading to engagement rumours. Finally, the couple appeared in Dunkin’s latest Super Bowl commercial alongside Ben Affleck, Jeremy Strong and others.

Hudson, who had a collegiate career in cheerleading, is a little less than two decades younger than her boyfriend’s eldest child, Amanda. She’s also younger than his sons, Steve and Brian. So, what do we know about Belichick’s sons, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Debby Clarke Belichick?

They’re both athletes

Both of Belichick’s sons have followed in their father’s footsteps. Steve Belichick, who was born in March 1987, played lacrosse and American football at Rutgers University while studying criminal justice, according to the University of Washington Athletics’ official website. Meanwhile, Brian Belichick, Bill’s youngest son, went to Trinity College to study anthropology and played lacrosse.

They’re working as coaches

Steve began his coaching career in 2012 as a coaching assistant for the Patriots, according to People. Over time, he was promoted to safeties coach and eventually the outside linebackers coach. Last year, he joined the University of Washington’s football team as a defensive coordinator. In December, it was reported that he would be joining his father on the University of North Carolina coaching team as a defensive coordinator, per CBS Sports.
