In a video on Dr Phil’s Instagram account, he is seen alongside immigration agents in Chicago, questioning a man apprehended by ICE and described as a convicted sex offender and internet predator from Thailand. At one point during the interrogation, the man appears to recognise the Merit Street Media founder and asks, “Are you Dr Phil? … I’ve seen you on Dr. Phil.”
What is Robin McGraw known for?

As well as appearing on her husband’s self-titled talk show, Robin is an author and podcast host. Among her books, her 2006 release Inside My Heart: Choosing to Live with Passion and Purpose and 2009’s What’s Age Got to Do With It? topped The New York Times Best Sellers list. She hosts podcast I’ve Got a Secret! which has attracted celebrity guests including Rachel Bilson and Andy Grammer. On the small screen, she has appeared in series The Bold and the Beautiful.
With her husband, she founded When Georgia Smiled, an organisation supporting victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, of which she is the CEO. McGraw is also on the board of her husband’s non-profit body The Dr. Phil Foundation, which helps disadvantaged children and families.
