The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s son Thomas ‘Tommy’ Zizzo just made headlines for his role as the first witness in A$AP Rocky’s assault trial – so who is he, exactly?

Not all celebrity children follow in their parents’ footsteps.

For example, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Erika Jayne’s son – Thomas “Tommy” Zizzo – is a policeman. And he just made headlines for his role as the first witness in A$AP Rocky’s assault trial, according to TMZ. Zizzo was called to the stand on Friday to testify about the shooting Rihanna’s partner was allegedly involved in, and what he saw at the scene when he arrived.

A$AP Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers, is accused of firing a gun at a former friend and could face up to 24 years in prison if found guilty, per the BBC. The Grammy-nominated rapper has pleaded not guilty and denies the allegations.

Rocky’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, told TMZ last Friday that he was looking forward to cross-examining Erika Jayne’s son.

Erika Jayne, real name Erika Girardi, welcomed her son Tommy Zizzo with her first husband Thomas Zizzo in 1992, per People magazine. She wasn’t even old enough to drink at the time. “I was 20 when my son was born [and] I got married to my friend,” Erika said on the Two Ts in a Pod podcast last August, referring to Tommy Zizzo’s dad. “It’s so funny, my first husband’s name is Tom, my second husband’s name is Tom [Girardi] and my son’s name is Tom. I have been surrounded by Thomases.”
