Singer, musician, actor and talk-show host Harry Connick Jr had himself a very merry Christmas in 2024. His family spent their holidays in Melbourne, Australia, as they waited for the Australian Open to begin.

Just before Christmas, the 57-year-old shared a family photo on Instagram that earned many compliments from fans. In the picture, the P.S. I Love You star can be seen beaming with his wife, actress and former model Jill Goodacre and their three daughters – Georgia, Kate and Charlotte. “With my favorite people on earth,” he captioned it lovingly.

The last time husband and wife were seen in public together was in November, when they attended an American football game at Folsom Field to support the Colorado Buffaloes at the University of Colorado Boulder. The “When My Heart Finds Christmas” singer shared a snap from the outing on his Instagram account. Goodacre, on the other hand, keeps her account private.

Jill Goodacre, 60 – whose mother, Glenna Goodacre, was the famed sculptor who designed Washington’s Vietnam Women’s Memorial – was one of the most in-demand Victoria’s Secret models in the 80s and 90s. She was one of the first catalogue models for the lingerie brand – long before its Angels strutted their stuff at its infamous shows – and was featured on the cover of magazines such as Cosmopolitan. She became such a phenomenon thanks to her exceptional beauty that she even bagged a cameo role in Friends.

It was love at first sight for Harry Connick Jr when Goodacre walked past him at a hotel swimming pool in Los Angeles in 1990. In an interview with Glamour, the Harry host revealed that when he introduced himself to the model, she gave him a firm handshake. “If that had been it between us, just that moment, I would’ve thought about it for the rest of my life,” he mused.
