Who is actor John C. Reilly’s TikTok-famous son Leo Reilly? The Moschino model and breakout musical star has even collaborated with rapper Rico Nasty – but don’t call him a nepo baby
The 26-year-old son of Chicago star John C. Reilly got noticed thanks to his idiosyncratic fashion and viral hits including ‘Boyfren’ and ‘Rosie’
In an era dominated by much-copied memes and imitations, Leo Reilly stands out as a true original. He doesn’t exactly dress like the average 26-year-old for starters – appearing in a medieval suit of armour – or in the company of a giant robotic dog for example. But then again, the son of Hollywood actor John C. Reilly isn’t most people...
Here’s what you need to know about the rising musician and influencer.
Who are Leo Reilly’s parents?
Born on September 3, 1998, in Los Angeles, California, Leo Reilly is the son of producer Allison Dickey and character actor John C. Reilly, best known for his roles in independent drama films and studio comedies such as Wreck-It Ralph and Step Brothers.
Growing up with artistic parents clearly nurtured Leo’s eclectic and eccentric style from a young age: “I have an affinity for things that I liked as a kid that I can repurpose and use now,” he shared with GQ in 2022. “For a long time I used a Wii Nunchuk remote as a belt. Costumey stuff like that makes me laugh.”
Modelling career
He achieved this while also studying fashion design at the Los Angeles’ Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (better known as FIDM), where he recounted his casting experience for Jeremy Scott’s Moschino.
“A funny story about that whole experience is that the day after the first casting I had to stay up all night sewing a dress for draping class, so when I got home I immediately fell asleep,” he shared with the fashion institute in 2020. “Next thing I know I wake up and check my phone to see that I have about 60 missed calls from my agent, mum and brother. They were trying to get a hold of me to let me know that I got the job and had to get to the final fitting as soon as I could.”
