Who is Justin Griffin, husband of The View’s Alyssa Farah? Republican pundit Farah worked for Trump and denied the 2020 election was stolen – but why did her family boycott her wedding?
Alyssa Farah and Justin Griffin were dating long-distance and briefly broke up, then the political pundit posted a ‘thirst trap’ photo – now they live in the New York suburbs with their dog Herbie
Republican pundit Alyssa Farah is a rare liberal favourite. The only person in history to serve as the top spokesperson for the president of the United States, the vice-president and the secretary of defence within a single administration, she came into public view after resigning from Donald Trump’s administration in December 2020, following the release of the presidential election results.
Since then, Farah has become a co-host on ABC’s The View talk show and a regular contributor on CNN, a network with liberal leanings. Fluent in politics and skilled in communications, she has quickly won over Democratic viewers for her relatability, despite her conservative roots. “We don’t agree on certain policies, but she’s pro-LGBT, she believes in human rights and she’s so articulate and easy to understand,” one viewer told The New York Times.
Throughout her career transition her husband has been by her side. But what else do we know about Justin Griffin?
Justin Griffin’s grandfather was a prominent Republican
Justin Griffin grew up in a family deeply involved in politics. Grandfather Samuel Tamposi, a property developer, was a staunch supporter of George H.W. Bush during his campaign and presidency, per The New York Times. His aunt, Elizabeth Tamposi, was Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs.
After high school, Justin briefly played baseball at Stonehill College in Massachusetts before transferring to Clark University to study political science. He graduated in 2012 and began his career in politics, serving as regional political director for the Massachusetts Republican Party. Later, he worked as director of finance for Governor Charlie Baker and Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito’s campaign committees, eventually becoming a senior adviser to their inaugural committee.
Griffin later moved to the private sector, joining the board of MassVentures, a venture capital firm supporting start-ups in Massachusetts. He is now a principal at Merrimack Potomac + Charles, a strategic management service. In 2020, he pursued a master’s degree in business administration at New York University, graduating in June 2022 as a Dean’s Scholar from the Stern School of Business, per People.
