Kaitlan Collins, CNN’s youngest chief White House correspondent, has a rumoured past with the aspiring politician, who owns a pharmacy and wishes to make medications affordable for communities

At 28 years old, Kaitlan Collins was appointed as the youngest chief White House correspondent in CNN history, fast-tracking her career trajectory. The Washington Post referred to her career path as “meteoric”, referencing how she used to blog about Miley Cyrus’s tattoos and celebrity rehab stints before her political coverage.

Now the host of The Source with Kaitlan Collins on the network, the now 32-year-old has grown her brand from hardcore political reporter to fan favourite who bags interviews on late night shows usually reserved for Hollywood stars.

Collins’ rise to stardom has seen her come under fire from all fronts, for instance former NBC anchor Megyn Kelly. The podcaster called Collins “boring with no personality”, also taking shots at her stern facial expressions.

While Collins finds herself in the news for her looks and political coverage, little is known about her love life. She was publicly linked to political wannabe Will Douglas in 2015, but their relationship status remains unknown.

The CNN anchor may keep her love life out of the spotlight now, but before she became a household name, she was eager to post loved-up images with Douglas. It has been widely reported that she and Douglas began dating in 2015. In 2017, these posts were deleted, leading to speculation that their relationship had ended, but neither Douglas nor Collins has ever officially commented.

Douglas may have been born in Duncan, Oklahoma, but he has made Texas his home. From rodeos to football games, Douglas has embraced the local culture.

Douglas is passionate about the state and said in a 2023 interview with Lake Highlands BubbleLife that his dream is to ensure job creation in Texas.
