Buckman was raised in London in a creative family; she met Schwimmer while waitressing in 2007 and they married and had a child before divorcing in 2017, although they remain cordial co-parents

Friends mega-star David Schwimmer has an unlikely connection with rock musician Rod Stewart that he doesn’t really want the legend to know about. During a recent appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to promote his new Disney+ series Goosebumps: The Vanishing, the actor recalled having multiple side hustles when he was younger, one of which was to serve divorce papers on behalf of his divorce-lawyer mother. It was in this capacity that he ended up having to serve Stewart, although it’s unclear which ex-wife – Alana Collins or Rachel Hunter – wanted out at the time.

Nevertheless, Schwimmer is thrilled about his new Disney+ project. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the 58-year-old revealed what he was looking forward to most when he took on the role of Anthony, a botanist and father of twins. “I’ve not been able to play a dad of a teenager, which I am now in real life,” he said, “so that part of me was also really excited. It’s another level of meaningful at this stage.”

Zoë Buckman, 39, hails from Hackney, East London, where she grew up surrounded by a creative family. In a conversation with Interview magazine, she revealed that various relatives were involved in theatre, with her Jewish mother, Jennie Buckman, coaching students at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, in addition to writing and directing plays. Jennie also wrote for the BBC, as reported by J. The Jewish News of Northern California.

Relatives on the paternal side of her family, which included actor Sir Alec Guinness, have also had careers in entertainment, reported the newspaper. Buckman’s father, Nick Blatchley, worked in the health sector; unlike him, Buckman identifies as Jewish.
