Who is Kim Porter’s ex-husband Al B. Sure! – and what has he said about Sean Combs? Actor Quincy Brown’s biological father tells all in a new documentary called Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy
A new documentary about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs features interviews with individuals from the rapper’s inner circle, including the ex-husband of his late baby mama Kim Porter, Al B. Sure!
New documentary Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy just premiered on Peacock – but had tongues wagging even ahead of its release.
According to the network’s summary, the film is a “raw, exclusive look at Sean Combs long before he was known as Puff or Diddy”, and features “never before seen footage and stories from those who know him best”.
“When we heard his perspective, it really clicked for us that this could be something more layered and unexpected – a raw exclusive look at Sean Combs … before he was Diddy,” Mark said. The exposé features interviews with several figures from the rapper’s inner circle, from a former bodyguard and former make-up artist to Tim Patterson, Combs’ childhood friend, and Al B. Sure!, who was married to the late Kim Porter.
“Being able to call Al B. Sure! and be like, ‘This film is happening. It’s not contingent on your participation. It’s not contingent on you saying this or that or the other thing or revealing some big secret. We just want you to be in this film because we think it will be a better film as a result. And we’re not asking you to share your whole life story, we’re just asking you to share whatever you’re comfortable sharing at this particular moment in time within the trajectory of the saga of your weird, very kind of complicated relationship with Sean Combs,’” Mark told The Hollywood Reporter.
What does Al B. Sure! do for work?
