Lauren Boebert is not letting her son Tyler’s criminal record get in the way of being a proud mum.
During the first day of the new Congress, the Republican could be seen “parading” her family around the Capitol, according to the Daily Mail.
“Proud to have my family by my side today as I will be sworn in this evening as Congresswoman for Colorado’s 4th Congressional District!” the 38-year-old wrote on X, accompanied by photos of her with her sons and grandson.
Tyler Boebert is Lauren Boebert’s eldest son
The Colorado teenager, 18, is the eldest son of Lauren Boebert and her ex-husband Jayson, according to the New York Post. He was born on March 21, 2005, when Lauren was just 18 years old. She was a senior at Rifle High School in Colorado, but dropped out to focus on her new baby at the time.
“I was a brand new mom, and I had to make hard decisions on successfully raising my child, or getting to high school biology class. And I chose to take care of my child,” she told The Durango Herald in 2020. “I was starting my family and had different priorities.”
