During an appearance on the Inside of You podcast with Michael Rosenbaum, Wood lovingly referred to Kongsved as his “wife”, sharing how thankful he was for their family. “I’m beyond grateful for my family, my kids and my wife. Like, they are such an extension of me,” he gushed.

Kongsved is a Danish producer, best known for the 2017 neo-noir comedy I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore. The film went on to win the Grand Jury Prize at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival in the US dramatic competition category. Other popular works produced by Kongsved include Get Duked! (2019), Come to Daddy (2019) and Nine Days (2020). Last year, she collaborated with her future husband on the film Bookworm.

According to Vanity Fair, Kongsved met Wood on the set of I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore, in which he played one of the major roles. It wasn’t until 2018 that the pair sparked romance rumours after being photographed hand-in-hand in Pasadena, Los Angeles. A year later, they made their relationship public by attending the Rodarte FW19 fashion show together. That same year, they were rumoured to be engaged and then welcomed their first child, son Evan. They had a daughter in 2022.
