It Ends with Us actors Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively’s long-running feud has taken a legal turn. On December 21, Lively sued the Man Enough Podcast host for sexual harassment, per TMZ, citing “severe emotional distress”. A day later, The New York Times revealed that a smear campaign devised by Baldoni and his PR team may have been behind the recent social media takedown of the Gossip Girl star.
Not long after, Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, shared plans of counter-suing, guaranteeing revelations that will “shock everyone”, including claims that it was Lively’s publicist, Leslie Sloane, who was feeding negative narratives to the press about his client, reports the Daily Mail. However, Sloane was not one to back down either. “It’s clear that Mr Baldoni and his Wayfarer Associates are suggesting that I originated press stories about HR complaints on set, which is false,” she asserted to People.

So what else do we know about Leslie Sloane?
She’s a renowned publicist
Sloane has decades of experience in public relations under her belt. She worked at Baker Winokur Ryder for 17 years, where she served as co-president, per The Wrap. In 2007, she was named one of New York’s 50 Most Powerful Women by the New York Post. In 2014, she was fired by BWR, per The Hollywood Reporter, following which she founded her own PR company, Vision PR.
She has ties to Harvey Weinstein
In 2014, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Sloane’s new firm, Vision PR, would be funded by now-disgraced producer and convicted sex offender Harvey Weinstein through The Weinstein Live, a branch of The Weinstein Company. Sloane previously served as Weinstein’s publicist, per Page Six. Regarding this investment, the 72-year-old once said, “Leslie’s next move is going to rock the industry,” reported the outlet. Vision PR also received backing from Madison Square Garden executive James Dolan.
