The pair hard-launched their relationship with an Instagram carousel and appearance at Paris Fashion Week; Souza is a sought-after professional footballer currently playing in the EFL Championship

In September, Brazilian songstress Anitta appeared at Paris Fashion Week dressed in a resplendent Balmain gown and with some serious arm candy: Brazilian professional football player Vinicius Souza.

It looks like the “Downtown” singer and her new beau – who have a six-year age gap – have gone straight to hard-launching their relationship. On September 27, Souza took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos, some of which featured Anitta snuggled up next to the Sheffield United midfielder.

At the end of the 2019-2020 season, after a year in Flamengo’s first-team squad, Souza was offered the chance to move to Belgium and play for Lommel SK. Souza revealed in an interview with Sky Sports last year that going from Brazil’s top team to the second-tier Belgian club felt like a step backwards at first.
