Reilly and Baugher keep their relationship under wraps – Baugher isn’t even on social media – but the New York investor and former Princeton Tigers MVP is supportive of his actress wife’s career

Paramount Network’s neo-Western drama Yellowstone has officially returned to our screens with the second half of its fifth season. The show’s on-screen romance between Kelly Reilly’s Beth Dutton and Cole Hauser’s Rip Wheeler has fans glued to their screens – there are even rumours of a spin-off for the two leads – but in real life, Reilly’s off-screen romance is much more low-key.

Reilly has been married to financier Kyle Baugher for over a decade, but the fiercely private English actress has remained tight-lipped about their relationship, refusing to reveal any but the sparsest of details to the public.

She first opened up about her relationship in a 2011 interview with The Guardian, stating that Baugher was living in New York and she spent a lot of time flying to see him from her home in England. “I’m not saying any more about him except that he’s not an actor – not in the business,” she added.

Baugher graduated from Princeton University in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in history. While on campus, he was reportedly a formidable lacrosse player. His former coach, Bill Tierney, named Baugher the team’s MVP and was quoted as saying, “He’s so good at what he does. He’ll go down in Princeton lacrosse history.”

Kyle isn’t the only Baugher to have impressed on Princeton’s lacrosse field. His older brother Spencer was a midfielder for the Tigers and won three NCAA championship rings with the team.

Baugher is now a New York-based financier.
