Angelina Jolie can’t seem to shake off rumours that there’s a new man in her life after being seen with rapper Akala – here’s what we know about the talented 40-year-old at the centre of the gossip

Akala and Angelina Jolie just can’t seem to shake off the rumours that they are in a relationship.
After being spotted together on numerous occasions recently, the 49-year-old actress shared photos on her Atelier Jolie Instagram account that confirmed the pair had attended yet another event together. Akala, 40, could be seen at the event in New York where the Eternals star was interviewing songwriter Mustafa over the weekend, per the Daily Mail. Although they weren’t pictured together in the carousel of photos, both celebs make an appearance in the post.

It comes just days after Akala joined the Marvel actress at the 62nd New York Film Festival premiere of her latest film Maria in New York, according to the Daily Mail. They were also seen leaving a hotel in Venice.

In August, a source told People magazine that the duo are “not dating”, but fans can’t seem to get enough of the two.

Akala, born Kingslee James McLean Daley, is a rapper, author, activist and poet. According to The Guardian, he hails from Kentish Town, London, and won a Mobo award for best hip-hop act in 2006. Per the same outlet, he also founded the Hip-Hop Shakespeare Company in 2009. According to Newsweek, he was born to a Scottish mother and Jamaican father and adapted his stage name from the Buddhist deity Acala.

According to his profile on Chartwell Speakers, he received an honorary doctorate from Oxford Brookes University in 2018, and an honorary degree from Brighton University for his services and accomplishments in music and culture.
