Meghan Markle has been spotted for the first time enjoying lunch with actress and activist Kimberly Williams-Paisley at Montecito hotspot Tre Lune, where Prince Harry took her last year

Williams-Paisley is a 52-year-old actress who starred in Father of the Bride in 1991 – and is related to How I Met Your Mother’s Ashley Williams

Meghan Markle has been spotted for the first time enjoying lunch with fellow actress and activist Kimberly Williams-Paisley, as reported by People.

According to the outlet, the two women – who already have plenty in common including the fact that they’re both alumni of Northwestern University – were spotted leaving Montecito hotspot Tre Lune on July 21 after tucking into some pasta and wine.

People notes that it’s not the first time Markle has been spotted at the venue, as she’s reported to have dined there with her husband Prince Harry a few days before her birthday last August.

Williams-Paisley, 52, is author of the book Where the Light Gets In, which tells the story of her mum Linda’s rare form of dementia. She also launched The Store Nashville, a food aid hub in Tennessee that combats food insecurity “with dignity and respect” and offers “comprehensive solutions to hunger and poverty”, per the website.
