- Since the Hilton family is one of the most glamorous and well connected in the world, it was no surprise to see Nicky Rothschild and Barron Hilton’s wife Tessa at the recent Ambani wedding
- Tessa Hilton was better known as Tessa Gräfin von Walderdorff before marrying Barron, and is descended from German royalty – she’s even reportedly related to King Charles

Tessa Hilton is a descendant of German royalty

Countess Tessa Gräfin von Walderdorff is the daughter of Anna-Sabrina Brühwiler-Verreccia and photographer and filmmaker, Franziskus von Walderdorff. Business Insider notes that she is descended from German royalty, and The Things reports that she is related to Britain’s King Charles via her father.
In an interview with Spirit and Flesh magazine, Tessa described her grandmother’s 18th-century castle in Germany, Schloss Höfling, in great detail. “Once you arrive through the gate, and into the courtyard, there are several portals leading to different outdoor areas of the palace: the rose and vegetable garden that my grandmother tends to so lovingly; the park, inside which pine and walnut trees soar and a family of mythological limestone figures pose; and, by way of a tall stone arch, the pools and tennis court followed by a field of grazing sheep,” she told the publication.
She speaks multiple languages

Despite being born in New York, English isn’t the only language Tessa speaks, according to an interview she gave to Jute Magazine in 2018. “French was my first language, but also English and German,” she said. “It was always a mix and I went into my first day of school speaking French to everybody.”
