You’d have to have been living under a rock not to know that some serious rap beef has been going down in recent months. The highly publicised feud – primarily between Kendrick Lamar and Drake, kicked up a gear when Lamar released a diss track in May titled “Not Like Us” in which he calls Drake a “certified paedophile”, and tells listeners that he “likes his women young”, as reported by TMZ.
And Lamar isn’t the only musician to target Drake’s previous relationships this year. In April, A$AP Rocky piled on by implying that he’d slept with Drake’s baby mama Sophie Brussaux before the rapper had, People reported. In the song “Show of Hands” with Future and Metro Boomin, Rocky raps: “I smash before you birthed, son, Flacko hit it first, son,” referring to himself.

Drake seemingly clapped back at Rocky in his song “Family Matters”, rapping: “Rakim talkin’ s*** again/Gassed ‘cause you hit my BM first, n****, do the math, who I was hittin’ then?” seemingly referring to his close ties to Rihanna, who Rocky is currently dating, adds People.

Where is Sophie Brussaux from?
According to her website, Brussaux was born outside of Paris, France, to a “hard-working breadwinner” father and a “doting housewife” mother. People magazine notes that she currently lives in France, and that her and Drake’s son Adonis already speaks decent French.

Brussaux is an artist who paints surrealist portraits of famous figures. As seen on her website, she has painted celebrities including Angelina Jolie, Beyoncé, Emma Watson, former US president Barack Obama, and even Pope Francis.
