Last week reports emerged that Rod Stewart’s son Sean was divorcing his wife of one year and has begun dating model and Beverly Hills facialist Julia Stambler, according to US media. If her name rings a bell, it may be because she was previously romantically linked to Charlie Sheen and make-up mogul Davis Factor.

The couple finally confirmed they were dating after Stewart shared a picture of Stambler on his Instagram to celebrate the Fourth of July. According to People, the pair have known each other for a long time and after running into each other in Bel Air, rekindled their friendship and their connection grew. It’s not clear if Stambler has met Sean’s inner circle of pals just yet – he is known to be besties with Scott Disick, Kourtney Kardashian’s ex – but she’s already won over Sean’s mum, Alana Stewart, according to the publication.

They have a ‘soulmate’ connection

Stewart married TV producer Jody Weintraub in February last year after a whirlwind engagement, but multiple sources have confirmed the pair have been separated for months. According to People, an insider described Stewart and Stambler’s relationship as a “soulmate connection”, and has said that the pair are focused on creating a “family life”.

The Charlie Sheen affair

Stambler made headlines in 2017 after she went from being nanny to Charlie Sheen’s twins, Bob and Max, to dating him. At the time it was reported by TMZ that it was Sheen’s ex-wife Brooke Mueller who introduced Stambler to Sheen. According to Who Australia, Mueller approved Stambler as the nanny during her custody battle with Sheen.
