But, old dramas aside, the couple and their children – Brooklyn, 24; Romeo, 21; Cruz, 18 and Harper, 12 – celebrated some major milestones this year.
From the success of Victoria’s namesake fashion label, to the settlement of Brooklyn’s messy wedding lawsuit, here is a recap of what the year 2023 looked like for the all-conquering Beckhams.
1. Romeo Beckham’s football deal
David, now 48, won many trophies and captained England at three international tournaments during his career.
His son Romeo is seemingly on the same path. Last season, he joined Premier League club Brentford on a six-month loan from Inter Miami, a Major League Soccer club co-owned by his dad.
After being praised by the club’s coach, this year he signed a year-long permanent deal with the club’s B team. The future is looking promising indeed for Beckham junior.
