- He looks just like the King of Pop, has a flair for fashion, and released his first single ‘Got Me Singing’ back in 2019
Michael Jackson’s nephew Jaafar Jackson is proving to be the perfect person to play his great uncle, as more pictures of him have been going viral on the internet.
The young talent bore an uncanny resemblance to the King of Pop as he began his first day of filming for the upcoming biopic, Michael, in Los Angeles recently, per British media.
The 27-year-old, who was announced in January to be playing his late uncle, was spotted rehearsing on set and showcasing Michael’s signature moves. Clad in a white vest, black trousers and open black shirt, Jaafar’s ensemble was identical to the one the singer often wore on stage.
Antoine Fuqua, who has worked on films such as The Equalizer and The Terminal List, was announced as the director of the family-approved biopic picked up by Lionsgate, per Deadline.
Fuqua will work with Hollywood producer Graham King, whose work has included hits The Aviator, Bohemian Rhapsody and The Departed, a remake of Hong Kong classic Infernal Affairs.
