Who are Rod Stewart’s 8 children – and what do they do? Kimberly used to hang with Paris Hilton, Renee performed at The Hong Kong International Dance Festival, and 18-year-old Alastair is a model
- From Mick Jagger’s 8 kids to Nick Cannon’s impressive 12, it’s not uncommon for stars to have big families with multiple baby mamas – and Rod Stewart is no exception
- The musician shares his brood with 5 women, so what are his kids up to today – from 60-year-old Sarah Streeter who was put up for adoption, to Kimberly Stewart who has a baby with Benicio Del Toro?
From Mick Jagger’s eight sons and daughters to Nick Cannon’s impressive 12 children, it seems that some of the biggest musicians and stars in the business are addicted to having kids – usually by multiple different baby mamas.
Rock legend Rod Stewart has eight children by five different mothers. In late November, the 78-year-old marked his seventh child Alistair’s 18th birthday in style.
The family celebrated at the upscale Maine restaurant in London’s Mayfair before jetting off to Rome the next day, as reported in the British media. Despite juggling the responsibilities of fathering eight children, Stewart seemingly still manages to balance his family life with work commitments. He’s slated to make a brief stop in Hong Kong next March as part of his Live in Concert, One Last Time Asia tour.
In 2021, he told People that he wears many hats due to the huge age gaps between his children.
“I have to be several different fathers because of the different age groups of my kids,” he explained, “You really have to treat all of them as individuals with individual problems. All the [older] kids went through their little bad period of drinking too much and dabbling in drugs – except for Liam; I don’t think he ever did – but they all came out on the other side. As a dad, I’ve learned to listen and not blow my top.”
He also shared that “seeing all my kids and my wife with big smiles on their faces” is what “makes me happiest”.
