Who is Emma Stone’s low-key SNL husband and baby daddy? The La La Land actress married the American director in 2020, and the couple share a baby girl, Louise Jean McCary
- Emma Stone and her husband Dave McCary met on the set of Saturday Night Live back in 2016, and they’ve since tied the knot and had a baby girl, Louise Jean McCary
- The Oscar-winning actress was previously linked to The Amazing Spider-Man co-star Andrew Garfield – it’s even rumoured that Taylor Swift’s song ‘When Emma Falls in Love’ is about their relationship
They say opposites attract, and that might just have been the case for Emma Stone and her husband Dave McCary.
As Stone recently shared in her Saturday Night Live monologue, her husband is “pretty camera-shy, he’s not a performer” – in stark contrast with the Oscar-winning actress who’s appeared in over 50 films and TV shows during her career to date.
McCary’s talents are evident behind the scenes though, as he works as a segment director for SNL – a show that holds a special place in Stone’s heart.
“I have made so many memories here and so many friends, and I even met my husband here at SNL,” she said in her monologue.
It’s been a busy week for Stone, who promoted her new film Poor Things at a premiere on Wednesday, with Taylor Swift in attendance to support her long-time pal, per Vanity Fair. Their friendship is so strong that it’s thought that Swift’s song “When Emma Falls In Love” is based on Stone’s former relationship with Andrew Garfield.
