Some people would dream of being Kim K’s personal assistant or BFF – well, Stephanie Shepherd was both. That is, until she was fired in 2017.
So what happened? Steph recently told all in an episode of The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast. “It was such a huge deal at the time. I mean, fired in the nicest sense of the word. I was crying, she was crying, because we are friends. And honestly, that friendship is really important to both of us,” she said.
Steph added that she thinks it was time for her to “move on” at the time, adding, “And I think she [Kardashian] probably felt that and saw that. She was like, ‘You need something more. You have this thing, pursue that. I’ll support you, whatever you need.’”

Who is Stephanie Shepherd?
Per Life & Style Mag, Shepherd (also known as Steph Shep) grew up as the only child of a single mum in rural Ohio, and has a Japanese father who lives in Japan.
According to People, Shepherd worked as Kim K’s assistant for four years from 2013 to 2017 until The Kardashians reality TV star decided to part ways with her friend and employee.
Shepherd used to work as a dancer for the Cleveland Cavaliers when she was 18, and was also an assistant for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Erika Girardi (aka Erika Jayne), per the source.
