Hollywood’s favourite funnyman Chris Rock is first and foremost a family man, as People once put it.
But it’s not the first time the father-daughter duo have stepped out together for a public outing. According to British media, Chris and Lola were spotted taking a stroll in New York City, not too far from his SoHo, Manhattan flat, last month.

Lola Simone and Zahra Savannah Rock’s background
Chris Rock had two kids, Lola Simone and Zahra Savannah, during his marriage to Malaak Compton-Rock. The couple were together for nearly two decades, having tied the knot in 1996, but they called it quits by 2014 and finalised their divorce in 2016. Having children changed Rock’s life: “Everything I’ve done since I’ve had kids is better than the stuff I did before I had kids,” he said, per People.
They’re both attending university
Lola, 21, is Chris’ eldest daughter. In his live Netflix special Selective Outrage, he shared one story about Lola where she got caught drinking with her friends during a school trip to Portugal. “I need you to kick my daughter out of this school,” he said he told the school. “I need my Black child to learn her lesson right now before she is up on OnlyFans and some s***.”
