Hardly a day goes by where Blackpink, the world’s biggest K-pop girl group, isn’t in the headlines. The four-member band – comprising Lisa, Jennie, Rosé and Jisoo – has garnered a devoted worldwide following with its members firmly established themselves as the reigning queens of K-pop since their debut in 2016.

Over the past few days though, Lisa has been making waves on the internet for two huge if very different topics: her love life after being spotted on multiple occasions with LVMH heir Frédéric Arnault, and a rumoured termination of her contract with YG Entertainment. Phew!

It’s unclear when exactly Lisa and Arnault met, but it’s been suggested that they first bonded at an event.

Arnault, 28, is the third son of billionaire Bernard Arnault, the world’s second richest man and boss of fashion conglomerate LVMH. The young Arnault currently heads Tag Heuer. Blackpink’s members, meanwhile, have worked extensively with LVMH brands, from Louis Vuitton campaigns together to individually becoming ambassadors: Lisa with Bulgari, Rosé with Tiffany & Co., Jisoo with Dior and Jennie often sporting labels like Loewe.

Considering their regular collaborations, it’s no surprise that Lisa, 26, who’s also a Celine rep, eventually crossed paths with one of the LVMH heirs.
