Carys Zeta Douglas just made her Cannes Film Festival debut alongside her Academy Award-winning parents Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas – the trio stole the spotlight at the event with style

The 20-year-old has been gracing fashion show front rows from Dolce & Gabbana to Michael Kors with mum, and singing covers including Lady Gaga’s ‘Shallows’ and Sara Bareilles’ ‘Little Black Dress’

The Cannes Film Festival’s red carpet this year welcomed not one, not two, but three members of the Zeta-Jones-Douglas household – and the dynamic trio was a sight to behold as they arrived together in impeccable style for the event.

Hollywood bigwigs Catherine Zeta-Jones and husband Michael Douglas attended Johnny Depp’s Jeanne du Barry screening on May 16, with their 20-year-old daughter Carys Zeta Douglas. Going all-out glam for the big day, they left onlookers mesmerised by their entrance that exemplified what we’d call the epitome of “family goals”.

However, while Carys’ parents are undoubtedly among the greatest talents in the industry, all eyes were on Catherine’s mini-me daughter. With pictures of the trio going viral, many fans were left wondering – who is she, and was her Cannes debut a glimpse of her potential future in stardom?

Despite having big-name parents, Carys was virtually unknown in the public eye until recently. Born in Ridgewood, New Jersey in 2003, Carys spent her childhood in Bermuda, far from the gaze of showbiz and paparazzi.

She was so far removed, in fact, that she didn’t know her Academy Award-winning dad’s background. “I thought my dad was a pancake maker,” she told Town & Country. “I didn’t know he was an actor. Honestly.”

By the time she turned six, the family moved to Manhattan, New York – which Carys hated at first, she told the publication.
