It goes without saying that Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has “golden foot”. But his wrist shines as well.
In the early years, when he was a rising star at FC Manchester United, he would often be seen wearing Rolex Daytona watches, including the brand’s most expensive on the market, reports Wrist Enthusiast.
Later, his timepieces got more brilliant, thanks to his appreciation of gems (and deeper pockets).

With his massive fortune of US$500 million, per Celebrity Net Worth, Portugal’s football legend has splashed out to own one of the world’s largest and priciest watch collections. Coming from the premier watchmakers, many of his pieces are rare and cost even more than a house or a car.

7. Breguet Classique Grande Complication Double Tourbillon – US$800,000

Ronaldo has been sporting Breguet Classique Grande Complication Double Tourbillon 5349PT both at events and on his Instagram, including the launching of his fragrance, CR7 Play It Cool, in Italy in 2019, as per Monochrome Watches.

As its name suggests, the platinum watch does have not one but two tourbillons and 417 diamonds around the silver gold centre plate, bezel and the dial, according to its website. Superwatchman predicts it has a price tag of about US$800,000.
6. Jacob & Co. Bugatti Chiron CR7 – US$1 million

The 37-year-old football star also drives in style! He worked with renowned Jacob & Co. to make a unique watch inspired by his personalised Bugatti Chiron CR7 car.
The timepiece comes with the car’s same black and silver colour and CR7 logo as well as a miniature replica of its W16 engine from 16 pistons pumping up and down inside the transparent sapphire crystal, per LuxuryLaunches.

The special watch is also covered by nearly 400 valuable stones, including 232 white baguette diamonds and 109 black sapphires, with a total of 21 carats of gemstones, per the brand. And its price, just about half of the car’s: US$1 million, according to LuxuryLaunches.
5. Jacob & Co. Grand Baguette Diamond – US$1 million

Ronaldo splurged another million to be one of only six owners in the world of this US$1 million limited twinkling piece, per Superwatchman. The Jacob & Co. Grand Baguette Diamond obviously dazzles our eyes with its 18k white gold, set with 761 baguette diamonds in total adorning the case and dial, according to the company’s website.
No, you didn’t misread, it is 761!

With an exceptional style of five time zone dial, indicating the time of your home location and the time in New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo and Paris, this futuristic five crown piece is believed to be perfect for any travel bug.
4. Hublot Masterpiece MP-09 Tourbillon Bi-Axis King Gold – US$1 million

Diamonds, tourbillons and large watches are the common choices of the football icon. Measuring 49mm, the Masterpiece MP09 Tourbillon Bi-Axis King Gold is Hublot’s first multi-axis tourbillon, which was created in-house, per Hodinkee.

With a new geometric shape, it features an 18-karat rose-gold case with baguette diamonds for the crown, according to IFL Watches. Despite the huge body, the watch is actually light and offers a five-day power reserve. According to Superwatchman, it costs about US$1 million.
3. Franck Muller Tourbillon Trumps Van Cleef & Arpels – US$1.4 million

When Cristiano Ronaldo meets someone from a royal family like the Crown Prince Of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan, he makes sure he wears something regal too. This Franck Muller watch is fully set with 424 white diamonds, according to British media.

Moreover, it is known for a complicated rare operation called “mystery set” or “invisible setting” through which the diamonds are not visible on the mounting of the watch, via Superwatchman. The same source estimates the watch’s value at about US$1.4 million.
2. Franck Muller Cintrée Curvex Tourbillon – US$1.5 million

Another Franck Muller watch, the Cintrée Curvex Tourbillon shows Ronaldo’s love of diamonds. Coming from the Cintrée Curvex line as the brand’s iconic shape, it is made of 18k white gold fully set with pavè baguette-cut diamonds, per Superwatchman.

There’s also a watchmaking marvel – a tourbillon that serves as the heart of the timepiece. Its cost is estimated at around US$1.5 million, per Superwatchman.

1. Girard-Perregaux Planetarium Tri-Axial – US$2 million

Finally, the Girard-Perregaux Planetarium Tri-Axial is the best evidence of Ronaldo’s tourbillon style. With a triple axis tourbillon, it is one of the rare multi-axis tourbillon watches in the world, and one of the most expensive ones too. According to reports, the luxury brand custom made Ronaldo’s version.

It even defies gravity, thanks to the tourbillon’s 3D high-speed rotation. Featuring a rotating globe synchronised with Earth’s rotation and two sapphire domes for a stunning display, it’s made of 18k rose gold with a diamond bezel and bracelet putting its value at about US$2 million, as per Superwatchman estimations.
