Over 25 million fantasy fans watched the new The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power series debut on Amazon Prime Video – the streamer’s biggest-ever day one numbers.
The new show takes place in the Second Age of Middle Earth and reconnects viewers with familiar characters like a much younger Galadriel and Elrond. But it also introduces a myriad of new faces: dwarves, elves and, of course, human characters, some of who have already become fan favourites.
Iranian-American actress Nazanin Boniadi plays a human healer named Bronwyn who has an ongoing romance with an Elven soldier, Arondir, played by Ismael Cruz Córdova.
Her character is new to the pantheon, created solely for the show, but thanks to her badass persona and adorable love story, she has been well appreciated on social media.
