Since the bombshell announcement in January 2021 that billionaire rapper Kayne “Ye” West’s seven-year marriage to Kim Kardashian was effectively over, both his and her current relationship status has grabbed plenty of media attention.

Despite West’s insistence that he wanted to get his family back, including reuniting with his estranged wife (the divorce is not yet signed and sealed), West has been rumoured to be involved romantically with actress and model Julia Fox (an unlikely friend and associate of Anna Delvey!), Instagram model Yasmine Lopez, and others.

According to the latest Hollywood gossip, Ye is causing a stir again with his latest muse, Chaney Jones, who is 20 years his junior. So who is the 24-year-old that has captured Kayne’s attention?
1. C’mon, she’s a Kim K double

What stunned the public the most is probably Jones’ strong resemblance to the West’s billionaire wife.

Jones’s style is also an immediate reminder of her famous lookalike, displaying a similar fashion sense, make-up style and penchant for bikini photos.

2. She is big on social media

Although Jones’s earliest Instagram photos are from just 2020, she has managed to grow her audience to more than 370,000 followers in that time. She has also shared glimpses of her life on TikTok, where she attracted nearly 50,000 followers. With all the attention she has garnered from her recent link to Kayne West, her sphere of influence is primed to explode.
3. She is serious about her education

Jones attended Caesar Rodney High School in Delaware before studying elementary education at the University of Delaware. Upon graduation, Jones embarked on a master’s degree in counselling at Wilmington University.

4. She works in mental health

Jones has worked as an influencer and a model for several brands. Additionally, she serves as the chief operating officer of First State Behavioural Health – a company offering mental health counselling services that was founded by her father/CEO Avon Jones.

In her bio on the company website, Chaney Jones says she believes that counselling can “help everyone improve in their everyday life”. She seems to make a decent salary, amassing an estimated wealth of at least US$1-2 million, as per Elle Australia.

5. She leads a suitably A-list life

On her social media accounts, Jones frequently shares moments of her jet-set lifestyle: travelling to luxury resorts, enjoying plenty of beach time, partying and having fun with her friends.
6. Did they just go public?

The pair ignited dating rumours when West reportedly asked Jones to join a listening party for his newest album, “Donda 2”. After that, they were spotted together on several occasions, going shopping and having lunch.

In the latest development, Ye appeared to confirm their relationship yesterday when he reposted a photo of the pair together from The Shade Room which read, “It appears #Ye and his new boo #ChaneyJones are going strong” – in a since-deleted post captioned simply with a black emoji.
