After Brad Pitt’s shocking divorce from his wife and long-term partner Angelina Jolie in September 2016, his love life became a hot topic for media and fans once more – despite Pitt’s best wishes to keep it all private.
According to the latest Hollywood gossip, Pitt is rumoured to be involved in a romantic relationship again, this time with the Swedish singer and model Lykke Li. The rumour mill began churning as Pitt was seen having dinner with Li at Mother Wolf restaurant in Los Angeles.

Some even claimed that the pair managed to keep their relationship out of the public eye as they are neighbours, with both living in the hillside neighbourhood of Los Feliz.
However, it might equally be true that they are just friends, simply hanging out together and having a good time, as declared by Page Six.
Regardless of their relationship status, the world wants to know more about Li, the woman who might possibly make the Academy award-winning actor fall in love again.

She has an impressive career as a pop star

The 35-year-old singer’s music career dates back to 2007 when she released her first record “Little Bit”, which was immediately praised as a bona fide hit-in-the-making by Stereogum for its charismatic and charming electro sound and daring lyrics.
Following her initial success, Li went on to release her first studio album “Youth Novels” in 2008, earning her five nominations at the 2009 Grammis, Sweden’s equivalent of the Grammys.
After that, Li successfully released three more albums: “Wounded Rhymes” in 2011, “I Never Learn” in 2014, and “So Sad So Sexy” in 2018.
Her music extends beyond traditional pop

Li’s music is among the more creative within the contemporary pop music industry, incorporating elements of electropop, dream-pop, art-pop, rock and indie. She has a soprano vocal range and often utilises a wide range of instruments in her music such as violins, saxophones, trumpets and cellos. Li admitted to the Aux. TV website that she was influenced by the music of Neil Young, This Mortal Coil, The Beatles, The Shangri-Las and The Rolling Stones.

She is also a model

In addition to music, Li has also ventured into modelling, signing a contract with Viva Model Management agency in 2012. Fashion is another outlet for Li to express her artistic passion and creative style, and in 2o12 she was selected as one of the faces for Levi’s new Curve ID line.
Her parents were famous artists

Li’s world was filled with art and creativity from a young age. Her father is Johan Zachrisson, the guitarist and singer of the popular Swedish band Dag Vag. He also wrote music for films and has appeared in several television series.
Li’s mother, Kärsti Stiege, who passed away in 2017 due to brain cancer, embarked on a singing career before eventually working as a photographer.
Despite her parents’ fame, Li has said that her music isn’t directly influenced by them, according to Clash magazine.

She grew up in many countries

During her childhood, Li moved with her parents, brother and sister to several countries including Sweden, Morocco, Portugal, Nepal and India. She later moved to New York, where she started her career.
Li told Clash magazine that while all the travelling did not have any impact on her music, it made her more mature.
She is a single parent

Li had a long-term relationship with Grammy award-winning record producer and songwriter Jeff Bhasker. In 2016, the pair welcomed a son, Dion, but split soon afterwards. They sold their French-inspired four-bedroom Los Feliz home for US$3.3 million in 2019.

She practices transcendental meditation

Li is a practitioner of transcendental meditation, which is also favoured by other famous musicians, such as Katy Perry, Sheryl Crow and Sting. Li told Pitchfork in 2014 that transcendental meditation helps her feel more alive and stay connected with her deepest feelings.
