Among the supermodels out there, Cindy Crawford stands out for many reasons ‒ be it her beauty, fashion campaigns, businesses or charity work. In early August 2021, she was announced as the world’s highest-paid model with a net worth of US$225 million, according to a report by Forbes.

Ever since her debut in 1985, she has gained her wealth through modelling activities, entrepreneurship and various TV appearances. But how does she spend her fortune?

Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber bought their mid-century house in Beverly Hills for US$11.2 million in 2017. The 5,400 sq ft house comes with five bedrooms and six bathrooms and was redesigned, according to the New York Post. It was later reported by various media outlets that the couple sold the house for US$13.5 million in August.

But that’s not all Crawford owns. After saying goodbye to their Beverly Hills home, Crawford and her husband still have a US$3 million house in Miami, a US$12 million house in Malibu, a lake cabin in Canada and a US$5.4 million desert house in La Quinta’s Madison Club.

Charity work

When Crawford was 10 years old, she lost her brother (who was only three) to leukaemia. Ever since her debut as a model, she has been taking part in numerous charity projects ‒ mainly focusing on childhood leukaemia. According to Bornrich, Crawford donates the proceeds of her calendar sales to the medical research.

Her car

According to The Sunday Times’ Driving.co.uk, Crawford is still driving her Bentley Continental GT Speed bought in 2007. It is estimated to have a price tag of at least US$104,200 based on CarsGuide.
As mentioned on Bornrich, Crawford has upgraded the car’s specs without changing its exterior, suggesting that the supermodel has splashed out to make her current ride more luxurious, even if she hasn’t bought a new one.

Family holidays

Before Covid-19, Crawford was an avid traveller. For her 11th anniversary with her husband, she and her family headed to the French Riviera for a summer holiday.

According to Hello!, they toured Europe on a multimillion-dollar yacht available for rent at the rate of US$550,000 (£400,000) a week. The couple was spotted hanging out with George Clooney in Italy the week before.

Luxury bags

It is no surprise that Crawford owns many luxury bags ‒ her collection includes brands like Hermès, Cartier, Celine and Chanel.

According to PurseBlog, she has been seen carrying a Prada Paradigme tote (US$2,700), Chloé’s Drew bag (US$1,850) and a Chanel Flap Bag that retails for at least US$3,600.
