Young, beautiful and smart, Navya Naveli Nanda also comes from Bollywood royalty and, if she wanted, she could have her pick of starring roles. Instead, she studied in New York, returned to India and decided to take the reins of the family business.
She also started a project aimed at empowering women, using her influence to gather support for the initiative. Despite shying away from the public eye, Nanda regularly makes headlines, whether due to her rumoured relationship with her movie star bae or her level-headed responses to haters. According to Hindustan Times, she graduated from Fordham University in the Bronx, New York, with a major in digital technology and UX design. She then co-founded Aara Health, a company which focuses on women’s health, and also launched Project Naveli, telling Vogue she wanted to dedicate her time to fighting for gender equality.
